Get ready for a fast-paced, supernatural 2D action experience. We are thrilled to announce that Claire: Operation Velvet will soon be making its official debut on Steam!
A Dark Secret, A Supernatural Awakening
Behind Claire’s quiet exterior lies a dark and traumatic past. Traded away by her father to settle a casino debt, Claire grew up trapped in a shadowy criminal underworld. Her life changed forever during a violent confrontation where she struck back against her captors. In that fatal moment, she absorbed her victim’s life-force, manifesting a gun made entirely of a human soul.
Rescued and guided by a mysterious Director, Claire spent years honing her abilities in secret. Now fully grown, her true journey is about to begin.
Welcome to the UPD
The story kicks off as Claire joins the UPD (Unusual Phenomenon Department), a covert organization operating out of a plain, inconspicuous building that hides cutting-edge technology inside. After a cryptic dream about a mysterious entity known as Velvet, Claire is sent on her very first assignment: investigating a run-down office building where overworked employees have been turned into mindless "husks" by an ancient, corrupted spirit.
